Matrix Neon (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website matrixneon.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our Site and play our games.

Audience: Our games and services are for adults 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

• Gameplay & leaderboard data: a non-login username you choose, a server-generated player ID and token, game scores, levels reached, session duration, timestamps, and number of entries.
• Device/usage data: standard server logs (IP, user-agent, request time, referrer) for security and troubleshooting.
• Consent preferences: your cookie/consent choices so we can honor them.
• Contact data (only if you provide it): e.g., email support or prize claims.
• Optional comments (if enabled): name, email, comment text, IP and user-agent for spam prevention; see “Comments”.
• Voice features: if you enable announcements, your browser may use its built-in speech synthesis voices. No recordings are sent to us.

How we use information

• Operate the Site, games, leaderboards, and tournaments.
• Prevent cheating and maintain fair play (limits, abuse prevention).
• Provide support and communicate with you.
• Improve performance and user experience.
• Show non-personalized or, with consent, personalized advertising (e.g., Google AdSense).
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce terms.

Advertising & analytics

We may use Google AdSense or similar. In consent regions, ads will load according to your choices:

• Non-personalized ads if Advertising is declined.
• Personalized ads if Advertising is accepted.

Ad providers may use their own cookies and receive your IP, user-agent and page URLs for delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. You can withdraw consent via Manage Cookies.

Note: External services (e.g., YouTube embeds, Google Ads) have their own privacy practices. Please review their policies.

Comments (if enabled)

We may enable comments on selected news/blog pages (not game screens). When you comment, we collect the data shown in the form, plus IP and user-agent for spam detection. We may use an anti-spam service. Comments are public; don’t share sensitive info.

Sharing & disclosures

• Service providers (hosting, security/CDN, analytics, anti-spam, email) under appropriate safeguards.
• Business transfers: if Matrix Neon is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred, with notice where legally required.
• Legal requirements: we may disclose data if necessary to (a) comply with a legal obligation, (b) protect rights or property, (c) prevent or investigate wrongdoing, (d) protect safety of users/public, or (e) defend against liability.
• Prize fulfillment when you choose to claim a prize.
• With consent: any other disclosure with your explicit consent.

Data retention

• Leaderboard entries: kept while modes/seasons run and for records, unless you request deletion.
• Server logs: up to ~90 days, then deleted or anonymized.
• Prize/support: as needed for accounting/legal requirements.
• Consent choices: up to 1 year.

Delete your data

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. In some cases, you may self-manage certain data (e.g., usernames, comments) within the Site. We may need to retain limited data if required by law, for fraud prevention, or to enforce our terms.

International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (HTTPS, access controls, server hardening). No method is 100% secure.

Your rights

• Access, correct, delete, restrict, object, portability, and withdraw consent (where applicable).

This Site is for 18+. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
